NHECC offers a wide range of tube cleaning methods. Anything from light mud and silt, all the way to hard scales such as manganese, calcium carbonate, and silica can be easily and economically removed with our wide selection of Goodway Technologies equipment. High Flow Ream-A-Matic ® equipment and brushes on flexible shafts are used for light to medium deposits. Goodway's QS-300 Quick Shot and the Super-Duty BFP -3510 Big Shot shoot coiled brushes, plastic, polymer, or steel scrapers.
NHECC provides our customers full service ID cleaning - from shooting all types of scrapers, rotary brushing, all the way through Ultra High Pressure (40,000 PSI) tube lancing. This can be performed onsite or at our 22,000 square foot facility in northeastern Ohio .

Each tube is individually tested for leaks. Tubes tested by static air pressure or vacuum testing. If the complete unit (Shell & waterboxes) is shipped to us, we can provide a hydrotest on it.
Eddy Current Testing by our Level IIIA Technician is available on all heat exchangers and condensers - in our shop or on-site.
At NHECC everything we do is state of the art and Tube Plugging is no exception. We use Expansion Seal Technologies' Perma Plug ® Condenser Plugs . Perma Plugs ® are just what the name implies - Permanent! There are no elastomers to wear out and EST's Perma Plugs ® have three times the sealing surface of ordinary plugging methods.

Pop-A-Plugs ® for heat exchanger tubes offer the same high quality and high holding strength as the Perma Plugs ® , useable to 300 PSI - 300°F.
Installation can be done quickly from one end reducing down time, and their compact design will not interfere with in-service tests. This is the best tube plugging system the industry has to offer.
